This is a job that I only did 1 time in almost 34 years, and did not finish it then. I now have to do it every week or every 10 days, depending on the weather. It is not an easy job.!!! As hot as I get, I may need to check into some insurance such as Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina for heat exhaustion coverage.
I supposedly have a self-propelled mower but it is myself that is propelling the mower because the drive will not engage. This means that I am using a motorized push mower to mow the yard. I guess that is a little better than using the old, old type that did not even have a motor, at least, the motor turns the cutting blades. This mower is very hard for me to crank but after 3-7 times pulling the crank cord, it will crank. I have to brace the mower against something so that it will not roll when I pull the crank cord and use both hands to pull the cord.
On Friday, July 16, when my husband was telling me he was going to leave me, he said that he could not sleep and could not eat. I really hope he can eat and sleep now, knowing that he took the RIDING mower and left me the push mower. He does need his rest because of the type of work he does.
Life is not easy now (it wasn’t easy before he left–just some things I did NOT have to do or worry about getting done) nor do I expect it to be. I will learn to be independent and will be better for it.
God is for me so what does it matter who is against me!!
This is just a valley I must go through before going back up the mountain.
