PHONE CALL
My brother usually calls me at least once a week, sometimes more often.
He called me yesterday after almost 2 weeks, I answered “Hello, at least U are not mad with me”. He replied, “Why would I be mad?”. I said “U have not called in a while”. Before I could say it, he says, “the phone line runs both ways”.
We then proceeded with our normal conversation. “How’s this? How’s that? Have U heard from so & so? What R U going to do about your mower or your car?”
He was very pleased that the mower was a fairly easy fix. He really liked the idea that I had used MY POINTS to get a gift card good at Sears to help pay for getting the serpentine belt replaced on my car.
I know I should call him, but his life is busier than mine and he knows when he has time to talk.
