TIES

Different types of ties–ties that men wear, ties that women–depending on the fashion very narrow, very wide, or medium ties, some even wear a bow tie.

The OB-GYN I saw when expecting my daughter always wore bow ties.  This was not odd during that era.  This guy has passed on but a doctor that I have seen a few times (about the age of my daughter), also wears bow ties.  I can’t help but smile each time I see him.  It is just so odd to me for a man to now wear this type tie.

There is a shape of pasta known as ‘bow tie pasta’.

FOODS

I like foods that lots of people do not.  I like occasionally to have my fill of liver pudding and souse meat.  I, apparently, went to sleep thinking about liver pudding Wednesday night.

The dream was so real!  I was going to see my mom and knowing she liked liver pudding, I stopped at a store on the way there and bought some for our lunch.  After getting the pudding and traveling a few miles, I realized that my mom had died a few years back.  I then went to a friend’s house that lives in Clarkton and WE had the pudding for lunch.

I called Faye last night and she too likes liver pudding occasionally.  We had quite a few laughs about the odd stuff I have been dreaming lately.

Real life, I went to 2 grocery stores Thursday looking for liver pudding, they each had some but the wrong brand.  I settled for some souse meat–Yum Yum.

ENVIRONMENT

Are you environment health conscious?  I recycle, but often fail when choosing green cleaning supplies.  If a product has worked for me well in the past, I continue using it, not checking to see if it is earth friendly.

I know that I should be more careful in selecting the products I use.  My grandchildren do need a safe environment for themselves and their descendants and I must do my part to insure this for them.

REPAIR

I need 3 major repairs done to my car, can’t afford all of them at once so—-.  I need a serpentine belt, complete brake job, and front and rear struts.  I know the brakes need to be in good maintenance at all times, the belt is cracked and could break at any time and the struts have needed to be replaced for at least a year and a half if not longer.

It seems the struts have been replaced within the past 10 years, how long do they last, anyway?
