I am so afraid of the water that I do not even like to go boat riding, much less on a cruise when I can’t go back to shore when I am ready.
Several people that I know have found real deals and have gone on caribbean cheap cruises. My husband made comments that made me think he wanted to go a cruise, but I always said no and he respected my wishes. If he should still want to go on a cruise and does so, he will go with my hope of him having a great time.
I have had several unpleasant dreams lately. Not frightening, just reminders of what has happened during my life. Some of them I can remember the detail and some I can’t. It is just odd that after all this time, I am now having these dreams. The role the subconscious mind plays in our lives is sometimes disturbing.
Some of the dreams have been so REAL!! Others just kinda foggy. Have you ever had strange or unpleasant dreams?
It is time for me to start planning the insurance that I want or need to supplement Medicare. A pleasant thought because of the age I have attained and an unpleasant thought because of my lack of knowledge of insurances. I may contact Blue Cross Blue Shield NC, and of course, I will consult with my brother.
I depend on my brother for all of my insurance questions, as well as other advice I may need now. I will ask him to find me the cheapest best policy available, even tho, I know I will get what I pay. The better the policy the more it will cost.
I spent a bigger part of this afternoon preparing my medical ledger sheets. What do I mean by this? Simple, I have quite a few medical bills that I am trying to get paid off and it is easier for me to keep the charges, insurance payments, the amount I pay, and the balance on ledger sheets. This is a yearly project I began and have done each year since my thyroid surgery, got a slow start this year.
Each medical facility has their own sheet and tabbed section in a 2″ binder. I also keep each statement and the bill I get with each office visit in the correct section. These ledger sheets tell me at a glance how much I owe each facility and also makes doing the taxes much easier.
More repairs needed!! The hall bath toilet ran all the time. I could not determine the problem so I just cut the water supply off. Sometimes the master bath toilet will run non-stop so I have to watch it after each flush to make sure it does stop.
Good News: at this time I do not need any faucets repaired. I don’t know what I would do if I did. I can’t think of any friends that know plumbing and I certainly can’t afford to pay someone.
Maybe one day, I can get myself a nest egg started for emergencies.
Is it rain, sleet or snow??? When I was at the door letting my grand-angels come in, I thought I saw all three. It has rained all night and all day. Sleet was a possibility this afternoon.
My dog stayed in almost all day, finally about 4, he decided he did need to go out. I do not know which dislikes the rain more, Bullet or my SIL, Jessie.
If I know that I am going to have to wait for any reason, I usually take my crocheting or books with me. This morning I took my Sunday School Lesson Book and read Sunday’s lesson while I waited at the doctor’s office. This afternoon while over at my daughter’s keeping DaBaby, I took my crocheting.
When sitting and waiting, it is always helpful to have something to keep the mind busy so that time seems to pass faster.
None–after 3 visits to the doctor in 7 days, I know no more now than I did before I went. That is discouraging and expensive. I am afraid the expense has just begun, as they will continue testing until they find the cause of my pain. Some think I am a pain regardless of why, but being a pain and having pain is really not the same.
Hopefully, after the EGD is done on the 10th, there will be an answer–good, bad, or indifferent, I am ready to know something.
