For some, another reason to give a gift is fast approaching.  During the week after Christmas, Valentine’s displays were all over the store and Tuesday I noticed that the summer furniture was being displayed.  Oh well, I guess that is retail.  For those that will receive a Valentine’s gift from you, are you considering personalized gifts or just a box of candy that has no thought in it. If you are male and reading this, you need to know we females know if the gift was given any thought or if it was just a random purchase just so you could say you did not forget the day.

I could do lots of things.  I wish I was more artistic, more interested in doing things to keep the house tidy at all times, stand up more for what I think is right concerning others, more secure about myself.  I bet you are wondering where I am going with all of this.  Well, it is mostly about my hair.

I wish I could cut and style my own hair.  Don’t get me wrong, my daughter does a great job.

Today she colored, cut and styled it for me.  Even 7 hours later, it does not look like it did when I left her shop. I wanted it cut shorter, but she said she did not want it to look butch and I said ok.  I do not have enough co-ordination, even tho I went to cosmetology, got my license and even did hair for a few years, to style my own hair.

If I could take my head off, then I could do it, but we all know that once the head is off it stays off.

Many people that drive do not have the assurance they can have their vehicle towed if if should quit on them.  We did not have this service for several years, but now we have an insurance that provides 24 hour towing.  This is a relief as one never knows when a hose will burst or the thermostat go bad.  Especially women that drive alone need this service as well as a cell phone to use in if they should have an emergency on the road.

Many appliances today have filters, 4396841 is a specific filter.  Wouldn’t it be so nice if we had filters to clean the spite and ill-will from our minds and hearts.  On second thought, we all do have a filter known as a guide for our lives, the BIBLE, but few of us use it as we should.  So often we use it to point out the faults of others but not to see our own faults.

or not up to date.  I just cannot seem to concentrate enough on the things that I must do to get them done.  I am speaking here of the ledger sheets I mentioned in an earlier post.  I have only made one and made several mistakes while making it.   I want to title the pages in ink and even make mistakes in spelling.  That should not happen as I am coping from last year’s sheet.

Now that February is almost here, I must get it done or I will be too far behind.  Nothing like playing catch-up.  It is not a game I enjoy.  My plan is to get them all done this week-end.

One of the medical offices and I disagree on the balance, so I think it is important for me to keep detailed records of all those that I owe.

Many people today seek to further their education by obtaining an online degree. This degree is acceptable in many fields of employment.

Western Governors University is an excellent school of higher learning.  Several types of degrees are available, some of which are:  B.A., B.S., M.B.A.  Many different fields are available for your advancement.  Even if you already have a degree, you can improve it by going a step or two higher.

Suppose that you want to obtain your masters degree online but just cannot afford the expense.  WGU even has financial programs to assist you.  You will have a mentor every step to offer personal assistance and guidance as you attempt to acquire the professional growth that is best suited for you in the field you have chosen.

Diet-Diet-Diet So many people make this a part of their New Year’s Resolution Package.  Everything goes well for a very few weeks and then forget the dieting, back to the old habits.  I am pretending to diet now but it is because of what I saw in the mirror!! a human that looked kinda like a beached whale with way too much blubber.  If I were to use a certain diet pill, and gave a great lipozene review, do you think the mfg. would possibly supply me with at least a three months supply of lipozene.

It is time for me to see my hairdresser, again.  It seems that I need to go about every 3 or 4 weeks for a cut and color rather than the usual 6-8 weeks.   If I could find a solution to the female pattern hair loss that I have developed as fast as my hair grows, I may have a solution to the problem.  As of right now, I just look at the thinness and wonder if any thing other than my thyroid issue is causing the problem.

Not hair conditioner but the condition of one’s hair is the thought here.  Before the issues with my thyroid, I had really nice hair(not boastful-factual), good body, good texture and easily managed and styled. Now I need shampoo for thinning hair, plus something to give my hair good body. It seems to be lifeless and it is about half as thick as it was a few years ago.  Yes, I am thankful that I still have hair but I do miss the type of hair I did have and would love to have it back.

Most all companies now have some type of pre-employment screening.  Some companies just do a drug test while others do a more intensive check including background checks, calling previous employees and some even call the references you supply on your application.  Some folks go clean, so to speak, for 30 to 40 days before seeking employment with some companies because they know that a drug test is mandatory before employment.  So sad, if they can not do drugs for that time, why not permanently?
