THYROID or FOOD FAT
I really do not understand how the body’s metabolism and thyroid are connected or work together. I do know that the thyroid is the motor of the body and controls even the heart. In my case, I do not have a thyroid anymore and need fat burners to control my weight. Of course, if I did not eat 3 sandwiches in one day, and better controlled what I did eat, I probably would have more control over my weight.
It is a medical fact that low thyroid levels increase weight and sluggishness and high levels decrease weight and make one tend to be hyper. My reports are saying that my levels are low.
I truly believe that my thyroid levels are part of the problem but the main problem is “bending and not pushing”. Explanation for that is: When sitting for a meal, I bend my elbow too much and do not push myself away from the table when I should. Just because food is good (even what I cook) does not mean that I should stuff myself like the Thanksgiving turkey.

That is my problem exactly! I also tend to eat when I’m bored. I put on a lot of weight dealing with the stupid thyroid condition, and one thing I have found that helps me in my dieting plans is to serve my dinner on a smaller desert plate. I’m not kidding!

Thanks for the visit, Sue.
I also eat when I am bored–never anything good for me, whatever it is, it is always loaded with useless calories. I eat from a salad plate unless it is something I really like. Even using a salad plate I sometimes go back for seconds. Really dumb on my part! I guess I think I will loose this blubber by wishing it away.
