BLOG YOU BLESSING 9-14-08

I did not make a post last Sunday for BYB.  I was still soaking it in and did not have the words to express my blessing and still do not.  For the sake of those involved, I will just say that a broken fence was mended!  I am very thankful for this and think that the fence may be stronger now than before it was broken.

This week my blessing is having some of the grandchildren stay with me.  Yes, it is work taking care of those that are too young to take care of themselves and supervising the older ones.  When at home the two older girls help there mom ALOT, here I do almost everything but change the baby and sometimes do that. All of them except the babies have volunteered to help me and I have let them do some things.

MORE BEADED LANYARDS

Yesterday I made more lanyards for one’s glasses.  I have more patterns in mind —- a solid red, one with green and red, a turquoise one, maybe even an orange and black for those that do halloween.   I know you are anxious to see what I did.

This one is for a cousin, just because I wanted to make her one.

These are for a lady at work, she also wants the solid red and turquoise one. She has already bought 2 from me.




I have to get more supplies before I can make more. I have the beads but need to get more Scrimps and Eyeglass holders. Now would be an ideal time to work on them as they are simple to make and babysitting is not that hard, but I can’t go get the supplies.
