BLOG YOUR BLESSING 5-18-08
I have 2 blessings that have been an uphill climb for me.
1) Paying off 1 of my 4 credit cards!!!!! YES!, I did that yesterday except for what interest will accrue from May 8 until Monday. I will go by the bank Monday and pay that interest. No, I really will not have extra money now, just money that can be put on another credit card and possibly increase 2 of the monthly payments that I make on my medical bills.
2) Someone has paid the deposit wanting to rent Mother’s house. He was working out of town and sent me the deposit by a mutual friend as he really wants the house. We have an appointment today at 2 to go over the contract and if he agrees, sign it and then his moving process can begin as soon after the 20th that I can get a section of the carpet replaced and all of it shampooed.
It is such a relief to have one less monthly payment. Every dollar that did not have another’s name on it was applied to this credit card debt since August of ’07.
Are you wondering what I will do with the rent income. Blow it! Not a chance. I will apply some of it to debt and save some for a rainy day.
