REPTILE-SNAKE
I may or may not have told you DH killed a chicken snake the day of my second yard sale. A cousin’s husband told me yesterday that he had seen a big one the other day when he was at the house.
Today his grandson was there talking with me about shingling part of the roof and I walk around yet another jungle and guess what I see. Right! a chicken snake just lying there very, very still. I tell the guy I will go around front and get the shovel so that HE can kill it for me. He says I have something better, my gun is in the car. This snake waits patiently for the guy to go to his car get his shotgun and blow his head off. (The snake’s head, not the guy’s)
This and the fact that the shrubbery against the house ruins it, is the reason for cutting back all of the shrubs. If this snake had been where I was working, I would not have seen it until, I was right on top of it then I would have had heart failure. IT just as easily could have been a poisonous snake.
