I am hoping to have a busy day tomorrow. Busy in that I get accomplished some of the things that I had on my list to do Saturday. My optometrist appointment is at 2:45 and I have a few errands to do in town before then. It is 11:50 now, so if I do not get myself in bed, I will sleep the morning away and not get anything done. I can not do much shopping because of the small fortune that will be spent at my appointment.
I have not always been a coffee drinker. Only in the past two or three years have I really started to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I rarely drink coffee when we go out because it is never as good as what we have at home. We do not even have any espresso machines sitting on the counter, just a regular drip coffee maker, but our coffee is always better-could be the brand-”good to the last drop”. Sometimes I even make a pot just for me.
Every adult should make provisions that will protect their family in case of death or disability, male or female. We sometimes think this is only a responsibility of the male but this is not always true. Even if the wife does not work outside the home, her demise could definitely affect the financial outlook of her family. If one has no other insurance, the premium for term insurance should be a part of your budget.
During my lifetime, I have held very few ‘official positions’. During my high school years, I was a class officer all 4 years. This seemed important at the time but now it is just a nice memory. With out any doubt, the most important position I have held as an adult was church treasurer. This position I am honored to have held because it speaks volumes of my character and how the other church members had confidence in my ability to do the job. To me this position was more official and far more important than being the Rolex President. What do you think?
DH and I discussed yesterday that he would pick up the grandchild that was next in line to visit with us. When I got home DGS#4 was here watching a movie. He gave me a small bouquet of weed flowers. He had been to see Granny and to McDonald’s and had eaten popcorn. He had saved some of the popcorn for me. After supper we went in the yard and he picked more weed flowers for me and some for his mom.
This young man almost always opens the car door for me. He is 8. This is Spidey Man on his birthday in December. 
I do not know if the grandchildren really love us and want to spend time with us or if they want to spend time with us because when they come one at the time, they pretty much do what they want and can watch what they want whether it be the TV or movies.
Stated in my last post, I will be going to the optometrist tomorrow for an evaluation of my eye sight and the overall health of my eyes. The last time I went he said my lenses really did not need changing. I have noticed recently that I am having a hard time reading the NDC numbers on the medicine bottles when I work in the pharmacy and other fine print. Now the question is: Will he change my prescription making my lenses stronger or will he recommend that I just use magnifiers. Tomorrow I will know.
I am going to the optometrist tomorrow for my yearly eye exam. He always has to do extra stuff. He calls one of the things he does making pictures of your eyes. Yes, he does have a machine that will show the back of the eye and all the little blood vessels and any irregulars from the last exam. I hate to go because he is so slow and insist that he dilate my eyes. He is thorough!! I wonder if I should possibly take any bpm partners with me. I also hate to go because I am in trifocals and my glasses cost a small fortune.
