God is always with us and does protect us in his own way.
Those that do not believe in God as a Superior Power will never agree that this is what happened.
Yesterday as we were coming home from our shopping adventure, we could have had a head on collision but because God took control we did not. We were traveling on a four lane street with almost no traffic. This never happens on this street, as it is one of the streets that will take you all the way thru town. DD says “That car is coming right at us, he is going to hit us” with no alarm in her voice. As he comes completely in my lane, I go into his lane which puts me on the wrong side of the street as he passes in front of us on my side of the street. I see him in the rear view mirror hit a utility pole on the far side of my lane. He bounces back about 6 feet from the pole. He was not speeding, if anything he was driving under the speed limit. I called 911 and stopped in a parking lot. The guy’s airbag went off and his head shattered his windshield. Police, Rescue, and Fire personnel arrive and he is taken to the hospital. I think he may have serious head injuries.
If God had not taken over, I would have panicked and gone to my right instead of my left and we would have definitely been hit. I still have not gotten weak-kneed over the situation.
Yes this is my blessing for the week and possibly for months.
