TOOLS for CRAFTS

Depending on the craft that you enjoy or participate, will determine the type tools that are needed for that craft. As you have seen from some of the posts here that I enjoy crocheting. The only tools that I need are crochet hooks, patterns, stitch markers, a measuring device, and of course yarn. Yarn is the only item that needs to be replaced after each project is completed. As you can see from the list of tools that I have given, I have no need for DeWalt tools when I crochet.

NEED MORE SLEEP

DH and I went across the river for supper and as soon as we got home I took my pain med. That was about an hour ago, now I am so sleepy that if were a little later, I would consider going to bed but it is only 7pm. One thing for sure, if I were to drive now, I may need the services of a truck accident lawyer. I do not understand why sometimes the med makes me really sleepy and other times it does not.

This is the first rose of the season.



Another amaryllis–



This is the plant that holds the flower of the first amaryllis picture that I showed you. It has 2 stalks of blooms.



I want a ‘Red Lion’ amaryllis as they are very dark red. Maybe next year.

BLOG your BLESSING 4-13-08

Blessings indeed! This is a picture of my last 2 blessings known as grandchildren. I have 10 blessings. I rarely get to see the oldest 3 blessings. Maybe one day that will change. Due to parental activities last night 4 of the blessings spent the night with us. The other 2 that stayed have gone to church. Prissy wanted to go but I was afraid DaBaby would cry if she left.

This picture did not turn out well, as you can see. The girls were getting tired of having their picture made and in my haste, I was not holding the camera steady.

I had to make 2 trips to pick them up yesterday because of car seat issues. Prissy jumped up and down with eagerness waiting for me to help her in the car seat and DaBaby cried when I left without her, not fully understanding that I would be back for her.

Thanks NeoBlue Panther. What a brilliant idea for others to share their blessings.
