I found the caplet that I need to finish for DGD#2. It is amazing what will be found when one tidies and puts things away. Now all I need to do is count the stitches and determine how many I need to decrease so that it will lay smooth across her back. I sure hope I do not have to do the “RIP” thing.

I have been gone all day and here I sit in front of the computer as if I have nothing else to do. There are many other things that I need to be doing. I need to get my bath and my clothes ready for work tomorrow, I have laundry that needs to be folded and put away. I need to clean the top of the stove and make some tea. I want to sit in the living room with DH for a little while. I also want to work some more on that granny square and hopefully get it completed in the next couple of days.
I have misplaced the caplet that I am to finish for DGD#2, hopefully I left it at her house (need to to call and find out).
I also have one more post that I need to get done tonight.

I had the alarm set for 7:30 this morning, when it sounded I cut it off and lay there thinking what am I going to wear to church. Nothing came to mind as my spring and summer dress wardrobe is almost non existent. When I got up, I asked DH if he would take me shopping and he said let’s go.
We take a little road trip down south and guess what folks—I do not find dress one that I can wear or that is suitable. I need a little jacket with my dresses because the church is always so cold. I guess that is what I get for skipping church to go shopping. I guess I will now try locally to find me something suitable for church wear.
I did find 3 pair of nice dress shoes, a shirt with matching clam digger pants and a shirt and matching long pants, both in nice summer material. I also found myself 3 gowns and a summer housecoat and my MIL a summer housecoat made similar to the winter one I gave her and a pretty summer gown. I hope she likes them. Oh, let’s not forget the bra, 3 packages of hose and 2 pairs of black work pants.
DH only got one pair of jeans. He was going to get 2 but they only had one in his size.
I did get 7 rounds done in the granny square I am working on. I am not really that slow, I did do a little site seeing on the trip.
