DH and I made a quick trip to Clarkton this afternoon to get the couch and chair that DD wanted.  We went, a neighbor helped DH load it, he tied it down and we left.  Like I said a very quick trip–  We left here about 3:20 and got back a little before 6, and this includes at least 1 hour and 40 minutes driving time.

CRAFT CLUB #25 3-7-08

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

As you can tell, I did not get anything posted this week. I have been very busy crocheting another doll blanket. Hopefully I will have it finished by Friday and will have time to post a picture of it.

Click on the graft above for the ‘who what and ifs’ and tell us about your craft.

In this modern world of today, one can rent anything from an escort to a laptop. I would imagine with so many people wanting to carry their computer with them that laptop rentals is a very good business. I myself am not so internet dependent that I need my computer with me around the clock. I am told that laptops are more convenient for every day use, but for now I am sticking with my desktop.

Many cosmetic products are on the market today that will supply just about any need one may have. Doesn’t matter if you would like for your skin tone to be darker, there is a product for that. Suppose you prefer skin lightening, also a product for that. Maybe you want to have even skin pigmentation, you guessed it, a product for this is also available. With so many products available for use, what does one really look like plain faced?

Folks, I know it is not ‘spook day’. Hope I haven’t “sceared” you too badly. That is the way Prissy pronounces scared.

BLOG your BLESSING 3-9-08

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

My blessing this week is my dear husband, again. That is okay, because he is a blessing to me in many ways. This week, he has blessed me by cooking. Monday, he had jury duty and was home before I got home from work and he grilled steaks. Friday, he was off and I worked 9-5:30, supper is ready except for a few more minutes on the rice when I get home. Yesterday, I worked on the taxes for a very long time so he heated up left-overs and made fresh rice for our supper.

I always consider being with him a blessing.

I hope everyone has a blessed and safe week.
