As I go up and down the stairs when working in the layaway department, I realize that stair lifts may just be what the company should consider as a valid investment. Until this is done, I will try to understand why a storage area for lightweight to medium heavy items would ever be upstairs. I am glad that those in charge decided to leave the furniture and really heavy items in an area downstairs.
There are so very many things that I enjoy today that my parents did not have as I was growing up. I did not think of myself as poor but I guess in the thinking of some we were financially poor. The comfort of running a tub of hot water and sitting in it until it gets so cool that one has to add more hot water or get out is a comfort that I indulge occasionally. I wonder if tankless water heaters would be as convenient for adding hot water as my electric hot water heater.
There are many exercises that one may do for any variety of reasons. Ellipticals offer a wide range of speeds and inclines that will give a great cardio work out. An added benefit is that one’s speed and incline can be adjusted to fit the individual as endurance strength is gained. I am a member of a fitness gym, but have not been in such a very long time, that I would probably have to start at the lowest point and build myself up again. I, at one time, could walk a mile in about 22 minutes. I know that is slow for some, but I felt this to be an accomplishment for me.

or maybe I should say I just cannot believe that some people really act this way or do things this way. I know a family that are involved in a “step-family” situation and the actions of some left me speechless. The step-dad died, the step-daughter emailed her uncle to let him know of the death but failed to notify her brother (his step-dad too) in any way. That’s right! no phone call, no email, Nothing!! His mom made no contact with him either. As far as I know, there has been no disagreement or any type argument between he and the mom or sister. This post is correct or was correct as of 10:00 this morning. I have heard nothing from him since.
How can family members cut off their nose to spite their face in this manner. Do they not realize that if you mistreat your family today, that tomorrow you may have to pay in some way or another. Maybe in just material things or it could possibly be the need of emotional support. In the long run, those that make others suffer needlessly always pay, sometimes a very high price.
Bottom line is: I guess some people would benefit a great deal from a detailed course in performance management.
I have another long week-end which is good. I still have so much to do at my mother’s house before I can rent it. I have not heard anymore from the guy that was interested in it. The Realtor told me today that I could possibly get as much as $550/month, he could give a real figure after looking at the inside.
After working in the house some I also need to crochet a lot. In this instance ‘a lot’ means almost every spare minute. I will just have to do all I can do and that is all I can do.
