The temperatures here in the South have really dropped the past few days. I may have to consider getting a North Face jacket. I really do not like a heavy coat so a jacket from the North, East, West, or South will be just fine as long as I am warm. I really prefer temperatures around 80, but as long as I can be cool or warm, depending on what I need to set the house thermostat on, I will be fine.
I think horses are beautiful animals, most of them appear graceful. I enjoy watching horse racing on TV, seeing the muscular build of such large creatures as they thunder around the race track. I have never been to a horse race. Should I attend a horse race, would it be appropriate to give the groomsmen gifts?
I have a friend that has 4 horses. One of her mares is over 28 years old, is ridden with arthritis and is sometimes rubbed down with human arthritis lineament to help with her pain.

GRANDCHILDREN
I have had the pleasure of 7 of my grandchildren staying with DH and me since this past Wednesday morning. While it has been a pleasure it has also been a lot of work. The two older girls help their mom so much at home that I have tried to do almost everything by myself. They have still helped alot. I have not had any major behavior problems but I did not think
that I would not.
For the most part children are sweet and innocent. Most problems begin when they imitate the behavior of adults.
I really feel that I am special to them when they hug me for no reason or tell me they love me or when the 2 little ones walk up to me and express a desire for me to pick them up.
