HAIR LOSS

Years past, people would comment on how thick, shiny and lustrous my hair was, but not anymore. I have noticed that I have about half as much hair as I had 2 maybe 2 1/2 years ago. I know that anesthesia will cause one to lose hair but normally it comes back. Also, thyroid problems will cause hair loss. What about radiation treatments? Was it my enemy as well as my friend? I have noticed that my hair is significantly thinner since the treatment in August. In fact, I have to sometimes comb it a certain way to hid my scalp. What can I do to promote hair regrowth?

CROCHETING

I have not done any crocheting in about 3 or 4 days. Even tho I thought I had settled on a pattern, I am just not happy with it. It does move along quickly, so I probably should stick with it as my time is running out. I do not know if any plans have been made to give the mom to be a shower or even how much longer she plans to work. No matter what, I need to get up from this computer and get beeezzzzzzy!!!!!!

RICE

If it we did not have rice, the cook would really have a hard time cooking for us.  We both really like rice,  DH will eat rice and butter.  I really like rice and gravy.  I do not like cubed steak, but the gravy is sooo good.   We have rice almost every meal and even when we go out to eat, DH will eat rice and I do sometimes.  Sometimes we will have rice and potatoes.  If we have stewed down potatoes, we will use the potato broth as gravy.  The more fat food contains the better I like it, probably why I am gaining wieght instead of losing.

NO EXAM

After my stressful day at work and then checking next week’s schedule, I am sure my blood pressure has sky rocketed. I will be lucky to get offered life insurance no exam.  The agent could just look at me and see that I was not a good candidate for life insurance with no exam.  I just do not understand why I would be told one thing and another happen.  I know I should discuss it with the supervisor, but either I am busy or she is.

WORKING OVER

I sure messed up today!!!  I was not paying any attention to the clock on the computer screen and the last time I looked at my watch, it was  1:20.   I was to get off at 2.—-good that will give me time to get to the nursing faciltiy and back home in plenty of time for the cook to get started on supper.  Guess what?!?  When I did notice the computer clock it was 20 til 3 and my watch was still at 1:20.

I finally got away from work about 3:30, leaving a line of people for my relief to deal with.  Today has not been a good day.  None of the days I work in lay-a-way are good days.  I told my supervisor today that I wanted out of that department.  Will it happen?  Probably not.
