May not sound like much to some folks, but I am blessed to have my husband back on day shift. I really do not like it when he is working night shift. Not so much for me but for him. He has a difficult time resting in the day hours and after 4 or 5 nights he begins to look sooooo tired and weary. My part in this night shift working is that I rarely see him awake or when he is not trying to rest.
Three of us from work had a meeting at another store last week. This store is about 2 hours from our store. The ride there was very comfortable as it was in the morning but the ride home was between 2 and 4 and the inside of the car had gotten very hot, because one of the Chrysler 300 accessories told us it was 90 degrees outside. While the company was fine and enjoyable, the ride home was not, it was very hot in that car because only once in a long time would the a/c work. The lady driving called her husband as we entered our town and asked if he wanted to meet her at the dealership as she was gonna trade that car for a new one that had working a/c when needed.
When I am on vacation, a simple, nice, and safe hotel is all I need. However, some folks like the best of the best including 24 hour room service and valet parking. Condo Hotels are not on my list of a must place to stay. I would at this point just enjoy a relaxing vacation. I have had 5 vacations in the past 2 years, but none have really been relaxing. My time will come.
Last Sunday was a nice very warm day. Even in mid morning it was warm. Today, however, is not the same. At 9am it is only 62 degrees. That makes the inner house cool. Being the calendar states it is the middle of October, I guess it is time for the weather to start cooling down.
Last week we had some very summer time days, I have not looked at the long range forecast for this week, so I do not know what the weather people are guessing the weather temps will be.
I can say that for now the sun is shining so the temp will get higher, but not a clue as to how high. Yes, I could turn on the tube and see what the guess is, maybe it would help me determine what to wear today.
