COOKIES

Diva is always wanting to bake this or that so she would love this site that has cookie recipes. I have given her several cookie cutters, because she wants fancy shaped cookies. I wonder what cookie recipe she will use for the turkey, leaf, and pumpkin shaped cutters that she has. I must look for Christmas related cookie cutters and refer her to cookierecipe.com for all of her Christmas cookie recipes. With so many different sugar cookie recipes and peanut butter cookie recipes, she will be a busy little lady preparing all of them for her family.

MOTHER 10-3-07

Mother appeared to be sleeping tonight when I visited her or maybe she was playing possum.  She did open her eyes and look at me while I was hanging her close but before I finished she had closed them again.  I gathered her dirty laundry and went to the door and turned back to look at her and thought her eyes were slightly open so I walked over to the bed and they were closed but while standing there she cracked them just a smidgen and closed them again.  This is something she would have done when I was a small child if she wanted to see what I was doing but not want me to know she was looking.

Again, I have asked DD to do her laundry.

WORKING HARD

The lay-a-way department is really going strong.  It is about to get the best of me.  I have not worked this hard physically in a long, long time.  If I were still having major health problems, I would not be able to do it.  I am climbing stairs with boxes of toys or bags with clothes in them to hang up, and this is after I have boxed or bagged the items.

Yesterday I worked from 10am until after 8pm with only a lunch break.  I was so tired when i got home that I could not relax and go to bed.  It was after midnight before I could ever get myself in bed.  I am tired tonight but not as tired as last night.  I worked from 10am until about 3:30pm today and then after DH went to work, I went to check on Mother.
