BLINDS and SHUTTERS

I really need to shop for blinds, three of my windows do not have any and I think they really dress up a room. The blinds in the living room and dining room have been up quite a few years and probably should be replaced. I am not shopping for just blinds, new drapes are also needed. Yes, that is what I am to some of the grandchildren. All but the 2 smallest get an allowance based on age, 50 cents for each year of age. If they break something because of carelessness or loose something important, they must help replace it, and this is based on percentage of cost. All of them but one have given me part of their allowance to save for them.

Today, I purchased a coupon holder and put their initials on the dividers because I was tired of their money being folded and mixed together. Sometimes they say to me “the next time you come over, will you bring me X amount of dollars”. I am glad they think I am trustworthy enough to keep their money. Hey! at 6, 7, and 8 years old dollar bills are very impressive.
