INSURANCE, HE KNOWS

I am so glad that my brother is an insurance agent. I do not understand the insurance lingo so he explains it to me in terms that I can comprehend. I do know that cheap car insurance may not be the best for your needs. One may need more coverage than this allows.

Home insurance is to protect the biggest investment you will ever make in your lifetime. I think it is unfair that mobile homes cannot be insured for at least the amount needed to replace them instead of just the amount paid for them. You see, they depreciate in value so coverage is limited. My home was purchased in 1980 for $28,000., no way could I find anything today for that amount.

My brother handles all of our life insurance policies, explaining to me why I need whole life instead of term life or term life instead of whole life. He may even suggest ways to borrow from my insurance policies, if I have an emergency need, that cannot be covered in another way.

Insurance is a must to protect yourself, those you love, or even a stranger.

CHAUFFEURING

For today that job is done.  I managed to get the older girls to the Founders Day celebration on time.  While there I saw a few people that I know.   I then brought Prissy home as she was in need of a nap, better known as quiet time.  After I got her settled, (DH was home, so I could leave her) I then was on the way with the older girls to Odgen and had a brainstorm.  I remembered DD had a hair appointment and hopefully she would still be at the salon.  Hooray!!!!! a little cheering of my own, she was still there so I did not have to go to Odgen.

I am now in need of a good cup of java, the cup I had earlier is long gone.

ARRIVED

Three of the five granddaughters have arrived.  Prissy has had a bath and now they are watching “Eight Below”.  I have to get my bath and shampoo my hair after I have a cup of coffee.  I also need to put Mother’s clothes in the dryer and start her other load.

I just need to get a move on, PERIOD.  The older girls have to be at destination 1 at 12:15 so that can warm up for the moves they will be doing when the cheerleaders of PopWarner do their exhibition for the Founder’s Day celebration.

This is not getting it done!
