31 YEARS AGO
Sounds like a long time, but it really is not. DH and I were married about 9:45pm today in 1976. He was off today and I had to work this afternoon, the first holiday I have had to work this year. When I got home, he had the steaks almost done. I doubt we will have 31 more years together, if we do, we will be in our early 90’s.
We stayed in a Holiday Inn in Monroe and the desk clerk gave me the key to the room. On Saturday we ate at a Waffle House and then went to Carowinds. After a day of rides and fun, we went back to the same hotel, got the same room and came back home on Sunday.
Lots of good times and a few bad, given the choice I would do it over again.
