HAWAII or BUST

Yes, indeed a trip to Hawaii would be nice. I have heard many great things about this beautiful spot in our world. The flowers are beautiful, the food is delicious, the mountains are gorgeous, the people are friendly and the beaches are spectacular.

The motels and hotels are just icing on the cake, so to speak. One cannot see all that needs to be seen or enjoy the many events with just a few trips to Hawaii. A trip to any of the islands would give one something to talk about for years to come with fond memories of each adventured experienced.

Maui’s tourism sector is booming and still growing as they had over 3.1 billion dollars in visitor expenditures in 2005. The economy of Maui is solely tourism- based and they must practice ecotourism to protect the valuable environmental assests, yet still allowing the travelers to enjoy the the beauty of a pPacific Island. Maui hotle occupancy is well above that of the other Hawaiian Islands.

Hawaii vacation reviews are a great way to decide when and where you will vacation in the beautiful isles and what you will do while there.

MULCH

Our neighbor has had almost all of trees cut down tht were in her yard and the lot beside her.  As part of the clean-up procedure the company mulched the waste right there and then hauled it off.  Yesterday, she knocked on my door wanting to know if we needed some mulch.  We now have probably 75 bags of mulch piled in our yard, savings us a mint as the guy wanted to dump it locally saving him the expense of paying to dump it elsewhere, that will be put to good use as DH works in the yard.  Mulch will certainly cut down on the amount of time he has to weed and will also help keep moisture around our trees.

SHE’S a KEEPER

Yes, the cook at Our Diner will have her job a while longer.  It did take her longer than expected to prepare the rice and sausage (she forgot to take the sausage from the freezer this am) but it was a good meal after she ever got it all together.  No, she did not make the aforementioned biscuits.  I really did not think she would, so no disappointment there.   After everyone finished eating, the cook loaded the dishwasher, and it is now going thru its cycles.  The cook will have tomorrow off, Friday’s are usually days she is off.
DD does like the meal that was prepared tonight but had to decline her invitation.  Maybe she can come next time.
