BLOG your BLESSING 7-22-07

As usual I have had many blessings this week, as the hymn goes “count your many blessings, name them one by one, count your many blessings, see what God hath done”.

I stated earlier that I was on vacation this week. DH had to report for jury duty on Monday and was selected for ‘grand jury’ and did not have to report back the rest of the week. Well, he also took the week off from work. We did not go anywhere special and it seems that we each went our own way a lot (especially me as I tried to do necessary appointments), but it was still nice to come in and he be home or walk from one room to another and he be there. He spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the sofa and as usual my spot was in front of the computer.

I really enjoyed the fact that I did not feel the pressure to have a meal prepared at a certain time, not that he would pressure me. I was brought up to believe that if he works, I am to prepare his meals. My mom worked in the home and on the farm, that is how she felt so she passed it on.

What do you think your recurring dreams mean? I have not had recurring dreams since before my dad died over 19 years ago. Before he died, I dreamed of snakes almost every night, since his death, I may have dreamed of them no more than a half dozen times.
