I enjoy looking at the night sky with the naked eye, but have just seen a hand held gadget that would make star-gazing even more fun. BLOG YOUR BLESSING

My blessing for the week began last Monday when DH planted trees in the yard. Thursday, he planted 2 more. He had been watering them with well water but not today because it is Sunday and he will not have to water them tomorrow. I woke this morning to the sound of thunder. We have received a 2 1/2 inches of rain during last night and today. A nice slow drizzling rain. I know that the “God” water will be so much better for our trees than the well water. It has been some time since we even had a little shower of rain. Yes, I am very thankful to have been blessed with the much need rain.

NEIGHBORING STATE

DH and I have vacationed quite a few times at Myrle Beach but never have we ventured on down to Hilton Head, SC. We always stay in a high rise motel on the beach front at Myrtle Beach. I wonder what the Hilton Head vacation rentals have to offer. Now I know, I have just taken a tour of some of the available rentals. Some think your pets need a vacation, also. If someone has an allergy to pets, this would not be good, if they rented unaware. What relaxing pleasure do you have in mind - golf, tennis, biking, sailing, sun worship, or just enjoying God’s creation from a patio or balcony, it can all be enjoyed here. Also, vacation rentals are available as ocean front condos or not, villas, penthouses, or private dwellings. What a fun place to be!!!

ANOTHER DAY/DOLLAR

I worked from 6am until 2pm today. I have gone in at 6 for 3 days.  Every day but today, I got off when I finished the cash office, today I had to work in lay-a-way.   Not sleeping well for the past 3 nights because I was afraid I would oversleep has really made me very tired. I will probably not need any rocking to sleep tonight.

I am really pleased with today’s cash proceedings. Today is the first time that I balanced when I did the beginning balance, the summary balance and the ending balance of cash. I finished at 11:45, an hour and 45 minutes past schedule. I would have finished a little sooner but I had to make a report for one of the registers that is done on the ‘read tape entry’ because they did not do a final tape run when they closed yesterday and the manager that opened the store could not get the safe open. I still would not have finished on schedule but it would have been a little better.
