ONLINE POOL GAMES

I have never played online pool, but it sure sounds as if it would be fun. Rules for online pool games can be found at several places on the web. Online pool is the best way to learn to play pool and billiards. I can learn many different pool games such as 8-ball, 9-ball, English and bar billiards. After I have learned the rules and how to actually play, then I can learn techniques, tips and tricks, and game strategies that will boost my winnings. I can even play for money, if I so choose. OUR DINER

Tonight I served the hamburger casserole that I mentioned several posts back.  I did not eat any of it because I really prefer something else.  I ate a Zone Perfect bar and later will have my favorite ice cream, Mint Chocolate Chip.  Yummy, should not be considered a meal, but it sure is good.

The casserole must have been good also.  DH ate it all -1.5 liters or 6 cups.

Now the question is — What will I serve tomorrow night.  I want a pork roast, but DH doesn’t care for that.  He is so easy to please, that I really do not like to prepare things that I know he does not like.

MORE

Why in this day and age are we never satisfied with what we possess? At least, this seems to be the norm of human behavior. If we do not have the cash for what we want, we just put it on the credit card. If we have maxed out our card, we just apply for more credit cards. It seems that the more and different types of credit cards we have, the more financial secure we feel. Not true! It seems that we are constantly doing balance transfers from one card to another. The population as a whole would be more protected against fraud and increasing debt if we only used cash for our purchases, but that is not always the easier way to do our business.

NICE WORK DAY

I worked in the pharmacy today and really enjoyed being there. The 2 ladies I worked with are super nice and real easy to converse with. We were very busy as the pharmacy was closed yesterday. I counted pills almost non stop for 3 hours. I stopped of course to get a different drug or put a drug back on the shelf, there was not a time of nothing to do. I did not feel rushed and the shift went by rather fast.

The HR manager buzzed over there to ask if I wanted to go to Conway, SC for 2 days to work in that store. I told her no, because it would be fast paced work and I was not sure that I could do it. I would hate to go and then not be able to do what is required. I know they will be re-arranging and that calls for bending, stooping, and stretching. That type of work is not for me.

Time to go to Our Diner and see what I can find to prepare for DH supper.
