RAIN

The weather forecast for later tonight is high winds and the possibility of tornadoes. It is raining now, but the weather is calm. I sure hope it stays that way. I don’t know why, but all of my life I have been afraid of unsettled weather. My brother is just the opposite. He enjoys watching an electrical storm. Not me, while the lightening is pretty to watch, the sound of it is terrifying to me and I can only think of the damage that it can do.

A few years back, a neighbor’s house down the street was struck by lightening, and they lost their house and almost everything in it due to fire.

DR. APPOINTMENTS

I finally have an appointment with the cardiologists on the 13th at 8:30.   An appointment that early will put a strain on my heart. lol.  I am going to call and see if I can possibly go sooner, since my doctor got me in the door, maybe I can.  I have an optometrist appointment at 1:30.  I would hate to have to drive into town twice in one day.

Maybe one day most of my medical problems will be solved and I can at least relax knowing all is being done that can be done.

STAPH

Staph infections are often found in hospitals. So much so that sometimes they are considered to be the normal side effect if one has to spend any time in a hospital. This is really sad since one usually goes to the hospital to get well not sicker. Now even more frightening is a new type of staph infection know as MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus)

MRSA is found among the elderly in long term care facilities, some high school students and even smaller children. One can not be too careful in protecting themselves from this infection. This is a community acquired staph infection. The good news is one can purchase over the counter “StaphAseptic” a wound care treament that will help prevent this type staph infection.

This type injury spreads MRSA and StaphAseptic would help prevent its spreading from individual to individual. 
StaphAseptic can be found at most drug stores.

MOTHER

said a complete sentence today. She said it in two parts but at the same time. She said, “You look like -(pause)- you feel so bad.” She also said twice at different times ‘I’m sleepy’ and ‘water’. Maybe before long she will be talking again.

WOOHOO !!

DH is off tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.  This is his first time  off since Christmas Day.  Tomorrow he will take care of business that should have been done long time ago (truck tune-up, etc.)  We will go to the bank together in the AM before I go to work and take care of a little business there.

The big day is Saturday.   SHOPPING in Myrtle Beach.   He says he needs some more jeans and some work shirts, but I have no doubt that we will go to my store, BonWorth, and a few other places that know me as a regular customer.  When we go in BonWorth if the manager is in, she calls us by name.  The only problem is I hope that I feel like walking and shopping.  I’ll just have to pretend I am at work and do what needs to be done.

RAINBOWS

Not the ones you see in the sky after rain, but the ones that you wear on your feet. Rainbow sandals are very comfortable as they have an arch support and their imitations do not. The Rainbow is the best because it lasts a very long time and several colors and styles are available. If you want a thick sole rainbow or a thin sole rainbow sandal the choice is yours.  The rainbow is available in children’s,  women’s, and men’s styles.
