WORK
I went to work yesterday at 6am and got off about 12:30. I had not worked in the cash office in a week so I had to look at my notes quite a bit, plus the district manager brought in 161 dollars of coins that I had to wrap when I did the work related coins.
The cash office is very small and always HOT. One has to be in there with the door closed and locked, so the only air circulation is a box fan that just stirs the air. There is probably at least 20 degrees difference in the cash office temperature and the store temperature. This means that yesterday I wore short sleeves and Monday I will probably wear a turtle neck with a short sleeve shirt over it.
Two ladies at work wear short sleeves all the time! One told me the other day that it felt good to her, she was glad it was finally cool in the store. To me, 64 degrees is more than cool.
Gah! I used to hate working the cash office for the exact same reason! It’s like they never think to install AC in that itty bitty room. Drove me bonkers!
