WORK 1-23-07
Went in at 6AM, the printer had jammed so I did not have all of my reports. Finally get those printed and start the cash office routine. The start of day cash balances, the individual cash summary balances. I think to myself everything is running smooth, I will probably be only 15 minutes longer than scheduled to finish for the day. That would mean that I would get off about 10:15, the earliest ever since I have been in the cash office.
Guess What!!! I am entering the last disbursement of the day before I can balance the cash for end of day and the monitor freezers. I call the office lead at home and nothing she tells me works, I then call our help line, they can’t help and tell me to call ARMS. ARMS is the central location for all computers connected to K-Mart and Sears. They can see all that is happening and tell you how to fix it. Finally, about 12:10, I am ready to leave for the day.
Hopefully, the next time I work in the office, which is Saturday, everything will run smooth and I can finish by 10AM.
Today, I am scheduled 1-5 in lay-a-way. This schedule ruins my morning and afternoon, but thankfully, I do have a job.
