DIAMONDS
It has been said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. I like diamonds and have a few, but they are not my best friend.
Diamonds come in several grades and cuts. The higher the grade the more sparkle and color. Low grade Diamond Jewellery looks cloudy with very little sparkle.
I was introduced this year to diamonds called “hearts of fire”. Only 400 retailers in the United States carry these diamonds. My husband gave me a ‘journey of love’ necklace with this type diamond in it. This diamonds are of such fine quality and cut that seem to dance within their sparkle.
If you are in the market for a diamond or other fine stones and not educated on them, I strongly suggest that before you purchase, do your homework. You can learn alot about the cut and grade of diamonds on the internet. Also, you can go to an established jewelery store and window shop, so to speak, and there you can see for yourself the difference in diamonds. Be sure the store has a good reputation or you may be tricked into paying for a high grade diamond when it really is not. If you have a friend that is familiar with grade, color and clarity take them with you for their input on the stones.
