The baby blanket is now 23 1/2 inches long. Not long enough, but it is getting there.
The family will leave for Alaska on Saturday the 11th. No, I will not have it finished before they leave.
If I had spent less time at the computer and more time crocheting, it would probably be finished. If I had DSL instead of Dial-Up, maybe I could spend less time at the computer. In fact, I am sure of it.

The wedding was so sweet, it seemed to abound with love. Not the mushy type of love, but with genuine love of all types. Love between the marriage couple, love of the parents for each other and their children. Love of family and friends.
The couple were constantly looking at each other and smiling during the ceremony. I find this to be rare, as most times the couple to be married are so nervous, they just don’t think to even look at the one they are marrying.
I am so glad that they wanted me to share this life changing day with them.
I took lots of pictures. For their first anniversary, I plan to give them the best picture and their wedding invitation in a double frame.

I had another appointment with the endocrinologist Friday (still doing follow-up from my total thyriodectomy which was July 19).
As some of you may or may not know, a minute amount of cancer was found. The good news –no need for any type of treatment. A blood test can be done that will show if the thyroid cancer has spread to other parts of the body. Not where, just that it is somewhere. That test was negative for cancer. Very Good!
My calcium level is still high. The parathyroid glands could have suffered some minor damage during surgery causing this and have not yet healed or they may not be functioning correctly for some other reason. No medication is available to lower one’s calcium level. High calcium will also make one tired.
My tsh level is a little low and my FreeT4 level is still elevated. It has dropped .11 since 9-11-06 but that is not enough. It is now at 2.28 and should be between .062 and 1.94. My synthroid was decreased from 150 mcg to 137 mcg. Maybe when I get on the right dosage, my energy will increase and I will fill like I can do more than what I absolutely have to do.
On a good note, my cholesterol is 188.
