Peas & Other Ramblings
I got back to my house about 4pm yesterday with the bushel of peas. They were really nice. I shelled about 4 hours last night and another hour tonight. I am really surprised that I shelled them in only 5 hours. They are now in the frig, hopefully, I will get them cooked and in the freezer tomorrow night.
Did not work any on the baby blanket last night. Maybe I can get at least 1 row done tonight.
Again DD#1 has helped me with this site. Maybe soon it will be about like I want it.
Today when I visited Mother, she thought my brother had been shot. She did not say if he had been killed, just shot. Again, I told her I would be the one to tell her if something happened to him.
I was thru in the cash office today by 12:30. That was a real accomplishment for me. I had very very little assistance. I had the bank deposit made by 11. The end of day balance was over by just 1 penny and that was because I found a penny on the floor from days gone by.
The dryer has Mother’s clothes in it and it has stopped and so has the dishwasher.
I too am about ready to stop for this night.
