The memorial service was different. The conducting pastor made the statement that Ms. McDougald did not want a tribute to herself but to God. It was almost like a normal church service.
The shower was nice. Those kids got a lot of stuff. About all they need is flour and meats.
I have spent almost all morning on the phone trying to get my surgical bills in order. Even tho my insurance portion is paid by United Health Care, it is by contract and not a PPO provider. This means that I will have to pay all of the $10,069.81 hospital bill myself. In order to set up a payment plan, I would have to agree to pay about $800. per month. If the bill is not paid within a year, it may be turned over to collections. Well, at $20. - $50. a month, I can look forward to being turned over to a collection agency. I think this is really unfair, as I will be making an effort to get the bill paid. The total I owe for my thyroid problems since May after insurance has paid is about $12,000. All I can do is make regular payments. I know that is not much to the hospital, but I have 3 other bills connected to the thyroid that I also am trying to pay off. If, I don’t die first, I will eventually get them all paid.
I have not done much today in the house. I have only dried 1 load of clothes, washed 1 load and it is in the dryer now. Also filled the dish washer and it has gone thru it’s cycle.
I really need to do some stitching on the baby blanket.
My cousin is suppose to call me about going to her house for some peas, if the farmer had any available. That is an hour’s drive one way.
Work was a nightmare in the daytime yesterday. I could not get my cash to balance. Finally after recounting everything twice, someone came to help me and found the problem almost immediately. I worked from 6-4:30 with an hour lunch. I was brain tired and bodily tired.
My cousing just called. She has me a bushel of peas. Gotta go.
