UPDATE
It has been a few days since I last posted and a lot has happened. I will try to note the highlights.
My DD#1 has worked so hard changing my blog and getting it set-up like I wanted it. ‘Thank You’!
My mom is doing about like usual, even tho last night she was sharp. She made a comment that my daughter and I thought was very funny. She knew exactly what she was saying. As I have said before, Mother’s mind is good if she gets the fluids that she needs. I do feel bad that she has to stay in a nursing facility.
I have ripped the baby blanket out twice. After a few rows, it just did not look right. Even tho I made a swatch, the actual blanket did not measure like the swatch. So I must really be diligent and get this one finished. November will be here before I know it.
I have a family of cousins, 4 girls and 1 boy. The last 3 years they have invited me to their family reunions. The first year I could not go, but have thoroughly enjoyed the last 2. I think it is so nice of them to include me. One of them gave me all the corn that I put up this year.
One of my dear friends has been suffering with kidney stones for about 2 weeks. Tomorrow, she is scheduled for a procedure that will give her relief. Her voice is full of pain.
The new position at work is great. I still have a lot to learn. I am confident that once I understand fully the procedure for 2 accounts, I will be okay and can possibly work on my own referring to my notes only occassionally. I do not, however, like getting up at 4:45, but getting off before lunch is nice.
My husband is sooooo very tired. He has not had a day off since labor day and is working 10 hours a day.
